The Reluctant Blogger Pt 2

    With the last of the pots scrubbed and the table wiped down, KRXA Hal looks wistfully at the mopped floor of the dining area. After briefly considering whether to scrub the toilets or snake out the pipes and deciding after serious contemplation that now is not the best time to regrout the bathroom tile, KRXA Hal debates internally whether the Biggest Loser really is more compelling television than Dancin' with the Stars. Since neither is on, KRXA Hal reluctantly boots up his always (sigh) trusty desktop. The antivirus software is functioning properly and both Firefox and Thunderbird are fully updated. Sadly er happily, there simply do not appear to be any impediments to a long (sigh) and intellectually rigorous (sigh) blogging session. Before hitting the keyboard, KRXA Hal contemplates the weighty issues of the day: Will Madonna have A-Rod's baby? Can Madonna still have a baby? Should he save the last piece of apple pie for his wife? No, he shouldn't. Darn, and he really had some important things to say. Well, there's always tomorrow night.

    How winsome and lonesome a post this is.  I almost feel obligated to keep you company.  And this, after having welcomed you into my life so completely just a week ago....

    Do you not recognize an adoring audience when you stumble upon it? 

    Well, let's just say....I like you, but I won't help with the dishes or the home improvements unless you talk to me while we work.

    Oh, wait....we're supposed to talk about A-Rod and Madonna??

    Fergit that.

    If I see one more picture of Madonna's man-shoulders I think I'm gonna scream louder than a virgin.

    I thought you'd want to talk politics....or life....or something meaningful like Tiger Woods' comeback next year. 

    Madonna.....meh.

    A-Rod best work on his swing instead of using his bat on an ageing pop star. He better start hitting home runs and she should know that he goes limp in the post season.

    Todays show(Thursday) had Robert in Montery from www.calitics.com reviewing california politics and out ever present budget crisis for the first hour.  Also a rant by Hal on pistol owners due to a shooting in King City.  The 2nd hour had a spokesperson from Velvet Revolution about voting shanaggans in Ohio from 2000 to 2008 and possible problems with the vote count on Prop 8 in California.  There was a $25 winner from a wonderful local business Pizza Paradise.  As always you can listen online @ www.krxa540.com

    Todays show (Friday) featured a free for all mostly listeners comments, bridge loans for the auto industry dominated the conversations.  In the second hour there was an author Bob on his book on management but he also gave his opinions on the auto industry which has as many facits as a diamond.  One caller from Illinois called in an though he loves Monterey lives in the midwest because it is cheaper, Hal keeping his composure comiserated with him even though the guy is a f**king idiot it is cheaper in Illinios because it is Illinois we have a coast and a beautiful ocean to view in awe and spendor wake the f**k up.  As always you can listen online @ www.krxa540.com your calls are always welcome.  Monday Hal has jury duty (a lawyer on jury duty) there must be a joke in there somewhere, and Robert in Monterey from www.calitics.com will guest host.
