LuLu... North KKKarolina?
Was he wearing his hood when he presented his POV? After all it was his cabal that suppressed the votes of African Americans in North Carolina.

OGD, I am not sure that I understand the point of your comment. The article did make the point of your second sentence but didn't mention who were wearing their gang colors openly. Well, OK, they did display an "R" or a "D" but that doesn't tell us anything when it come to our country's kick-ass-because-we-are-exceptional-and-we-can foreign policy. Is dropping a big tit on this very small tat a smart policy? Wearing a hood would be appropriate for many of those jerks and would help make the ocean of hypocrisy washing entirely over this issue even more obvious.
On Maddow's show Gingrich cusses Obama for only throwing a pebble in response to Russia's evildoing. Sessions say it should have been rocks. Cotton ups that, says he would throw a boulder. I don't watch a lot of MSM news so maybe I missed it, but in all the talk of how dastardly a deed the Russians [probably] did, has any reference to the following been made?
Has revealing the truth about actions within a sovereign foreign country's political battles been our most lethal intervention?

Did Tillis (R-NC) mention the ever powerful and uncompromising holier than thou 'democracy spreading' everywhere but the USA right wing supported each and every one of these operations?
by NCD on Fri, 01/06/2017 - 5:01pm
NCD, I posted a link which in part said that Tillis pointed out that the U.S. had meddled in many foreign elections. That happens to be a fact even if it is thrown out by a racist prick Republican. As OC said, sometime it is important to establish the facts. You seem to be challenging me to defend Tillis of being a racist prick since he is the one quoted saying something inconveniently true.
I think the headline and treatment of Tillis is just to introduce the subject but it was not the meat of the piece. The entirety of the blog is what I found instructive, not the short intro that pointed out the hypocrisy of the U.S. reaction and the racist hypocrisy of Tillis.

Do you believe that Tillis and the GOP care about democracy, or just winning?
by NCD on Fri, 01/06/2017 - 6:40pm
I know the question was not addressed to me, but it seems obvious that he was running interference for trump/putin. If he had made that statement when we were getting ready to invade Iraq it might be noted for its great statesmanship. However, he didn't bring this up then, nor did anyone else.
The points he made (that the US has tampered with many governments, all with the cover of "bringing democracy") are legitimate...the problem is that he doesn't really mean it. He doesn't even know what he means. He is just doing trump's bidding.
So to answer to your question:
I say, NO, and YES (at any cost)
by CVille Dem on Fri, 01/06/2017 - 7:02pm
I agree, no and yes, but I believe it is a mistake of missing the point to concentrate on Tillis being the messenger of the moment. Both parties, and therefore the entire electorate bear whatever responsibility there is for many years now.

The Republican Congress can easily deflect intelligence actions in foreign governments as a necessity for our safety. The Democrats can make a dent in intervention by starting with the fact that the Republicans show no desire to hold Congressional hearing on the actions of Russia in the election. Trump tweeted that he wanted a Congressional investigation into the hack report being leaked to NBC rather than investigating the actual Russian hack. Attacking the role of Republicans as useful idiots and putting US security at risk is the best way to next move into the wisdom of our attacking elections in other countries.

While all this crap about the past is being bantered about, the CURRENT ISSUE that is being buried is found in the following post here at Dag.

Sorry OGD, I just don't understand your question or known where you are coming from or what your evidence represents or something. I don't know how to respond. I'll look again tomorrow, maybe with a clearer head.

Sheesh Lulu ...
This isn't rocket science we're dealing with...

Simple science can be explained in simple English.

Thanks OGD. 'Lulu's 'messenger of the moment' on democracy, Tillis, is like citing Ted Bundy as 'messenger of the moment' for gentlemanly dating etiquette.
by NCD on Sat, 01/07/2017 - 12:05am
Bundy is known to have raped and dismembered at least thirty women. At his trial though, we should ignore his confessions of rape and dismemberment because he is a homicidal maniac. Brilliant!
