A helluva lot of difference between "I was in Southern California" and "I was in Rome", and yep, there are no passport controls on Rome-Prague flights (drive is a longish 12 hours if not massively speeding).
So Steele dossier just got an impressive uptick.
Comments
Sleeper train is 15-17 hours, but looks like charter jet from Rome-Prague is ~7000-8000 euros, for ~2 hour flight with 1 major & 2 much smaller airports to land at with 0 customs clearance (and other more obscure airports if needed) - no doubt Russians could arrange easily. Cohen's whole line of excuse is blown, and worse, by throwing up a bullshit alibi & having him actually be so close makes him look quite guilty as not-yet-charged.
