It's inevitable that eventually China will take back Hong Kong, and Taiwan too. I wish it was possible to protect and increase freedom and human rights globally but get real. The population of Hong Kong is 7.5 million and China 1.5 billion. Who is going to fight a war with 1.5 billion Chinese people to protect the freedoms of one small Chinese city?

Just a few thoughts:
They will be painted, as is traditional in the culture, as "hooligans."
The massing on the border = "the people's" might makes right.
Tianamen Square screwed with this whole paradigm, that's why the government tries to make it a no-go topic.
Islam screws with it worse, them that have this disease got to be re-edjumacted.
