Doesn't seem crazy to me, though maybe on a 50-year horizon, improving gastarbeiter provisions to bring some sense to cross-border movements, and more money towards financing internal education & production operations in Mexico (and Central America) and improving on crime/ethnic harassment that make it a problem to stay home.
Note that at this point we can produce in Mexico a fair amount we've been shipping to China, with more social & economic benefit.

I don't think her theory crazy either, but it's the essence of Bob Woodward's crazytown description that she was chosen. Staff pulls one over Trump for the umpteenth time; it must be easy if you have to put C.V.'s in picture form for him.
