I wasn't aware of the coup process described here. Not posted to argue all the points made.

It's not a "coup" - it's the Constitution. Don't you understand what a coup is?

Don't quibble...The whole "publication" (scare quotes only because these days a "publisher" is anyone with a laptop and $1.00 for a McDonald's coffee--not that there's anything wrong with that...) seems to be a collection of the tendentious--why it is entitled Strategic Culture is something of a mystery, if nonetheless an elegant conflation....

What "coup" proces? Do you know the definition of a coup/

I do know and understand the definition of "coup". Although it is not always obvious and so sometimes missed, I am reasonably confident that we both know the more nuanced definition of "snark". If Trump were removed by the method suggested it would be Constitutional and therefore legal and therefore not a coup. That would be the case whether his removal was justified or not. Regardless my headline, the article made that clear.
I can easily imagine ways in which Trump might act which would justify, in my mind, his removal from office. In such a case I would consider the 25th Amendment to be a good emergency lifeline. I can also imagine a removal for reasons as wrong as the attempt to remove Clinton by way of impeachment. In such a case, were it to happen, I might snarkally call it a "coup". Many of the checks and balances set up in ur system require, for them to be beneficially affective, that the weight of the decision making be carried out by intelligent and well informed people of good faith. I'm watching who gets elected and who they appoint. But, what the hell, I aint skeered.
