Recent Trump decisions on nuclear weapons:

The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes. @realdonaldTrump  

“Let it be an arms race,” Mr. Trump said, according to Ms. Brzezinski, who described her conversation with the president-elect on the morning news program moments later. Mr. Trump added: “We will outmatch them at every pass and outlast them all.”

Trump "does not believe" in radiation or nuclear winter. "Radiation comes from a radiator"..."we don't have them we have electric heat."..."Dust can't hurt you, it's not rocks, and if it's active on radios, seriously, who uses them anymore?"

"Nuclear winter is like saying an ice chest will cause summer. It makes no sense."

Trump says we had nuclear blasts in Nevada in the 50's and it helped create good jobs in America, and showed the world we weren't afraid to use them.

Trump also said he doesn't believe any of the so called underground nuclear tests happened or proved anything about nukes. "They were fakes, I saw it on Alex Jones".

To prove his point on safety and common sense, he would demand Rick Perry's first job at the Energy Department would be to set off a really big nuclear bomb. Trump wants to do it just off Mar-a-Lago in February or March.

If it doesn't work Trump claims it would prove he was 100% correct, our nukes are old and decrepit.

If it does work he would consider it as a fluke and would need to test more to be sure.

Trump says if the bomb explodes it would make a wonderful spectacle and if done off Mar-a-Lago would be a fantastic sight from there and the Florida coast for residents and tourists.

Trump has blasted the concept that nukes or a nuke war could cause a winter.

He says the winter is cold even in Florida and he believes a successful nuke blast would have the added benefit of showing he is 100% right - nukes will WARM UP Florida, not cool it off, as environmentalists, naysayers and so called experts say about blowing up nukes.  

Trump says he is a smart person knows more about this than the nuclear scientists, and he has a mandate to blow up conventional beliefs, and he is excited to be able to prove it offshore from the southern white house.
