Lieberman's Days in Dem Caucus Dwindle

    Joe Lieberman, who promised not to bash Barack Obama at the GOP convention and then did anyway, has about 60 days left as a member of the Senate Democratic Caucus.

    The Connecticut "Independent Democrat," who strongly supports the Iraq War, is also coaching McCain's newly minted veep pick, Sarah Palin, on foreign policy in anticipation of her debate with Obama's veep pick, Joe Biden.

    Senate Democrats are already discussing removing him from his chairmanships on Senate committees, a move that should have taken place over a year ago.

    If the Democrats pick up enough Senate seats to come close to a veto-proof majority, Lieberman will be expelled from the caucus in record time.

    As if it will matter by then.
