BTW, did you notice that CNN tweet that showed Trump actually hung that shitty painting with all the ex-presidents gathered around him? a rare touch for kitsch.

Yes, the CNN fact checker not on the Twitter headlines, I guess; I just liked the "thieves" comment.
On the picture, from Artsy.com: it's not even the original, it's a repro:
which is fitting, I guess, in that all he cares about visually is image, zero connoisseurship, kinda like the ultimate customer for Warhol, Trump is almost like a parody of what Warhol was thinking about, if one can imagine that.
If you read the whole thing, it kind of disappoints on the kitsch front, it's not the ultimate kitsch, as the nuance of the full story brings the kitschiness down a notch:
but only a few points. He's mainly an illustrator/cowboy painter after all, can't take that away from him.
