Judge to Trump: No protection for speech inciting violence
Judge David J. Hale in Louisville ruled Friday that the suit against Trump, his campaign and three of his supporters can proceed. Hale found ample facts supporting allegations that the protesters’ injuries were a “direct and proximate result” of Trump’s actions, and noted that the Supreme Court has ruled out constitutional protections for speech that incites violence.
“It is plausible that Trump’s direction to ‘get ‘em out of here’ advocated the use of force,” the judge wrote. “It was an order, an instruction, a command.”
--snip--
“In sum, the Court finds that Plaintiffs have adequately alleged that their harm was foreseeable and that the Trump Defendants had a duty to prevent it,” the judge ruled, referring the case to a federal magistrate, Judge H. Brent Brennenstuhl, to handle preliminary litigation, discovery and settlement efforts.

The old fart with a flag on his sleeve and probably another up his ass should get special dispensation for fighting in the Korean War as a ten year old.

I'm surprised it took this long for the bottom-feeding lawyers to seek payouts for their whimpering snowflakes. No DA has brought criminal charges and they won't because there was no crime but there are plenty of Clintonites out there including judges with a persistent case of butt-hurt and loser syndrome.
The Clintonite activists went to these Trump events to incite his supporters into some made for TV violence which was the meme their campaign and media was promoting. The Deplorables surprised me when they only pushed and assisted security in ejecting these troublemakers and did more ignoring them than punching them.
This was the real crime, the Deplorables refused to play the role chosen and incited for them by the Clintonites.

I'm sorry to learn of your handycap, LU. I thought you had shown the ability to think beyond your conditioning but i was mistaken.

Hey LuLu... Par for the course . . .
It doesn't surprise me that our serial troll here has to resort to personal attack to conveniently sidestep the central and most important point in my original post. That being, the glaring fact that the loquacious Tweeter Boy our troll supports employs some real bozo attorneys if they thought that Constitutional "Free Speech" turd was going to float.

Peter, you have achieved a new status for me. I come to this site because the posters read widely, and have an intelligent view of the articles they bring here. You never bring any facts or citations, although you post in a different way tha most trolls. Your "statements" are all your opinions
You are obviously and intentionally a FAKE NEWS PROVIDER.

This is Ta big deal Ducky.
I recall watching this stream several times.
The 'media' did not fuck up on this one.
I actually recall the Orange Ogre doing this several times.
That is inciting to violence.
And I thought at the time(s):
There are torts being perpetrated for chrissakes.
We are in the civil sphere but what if this were H. Rap Brown.......?
This judge has balls.
Then I recall that both you and I and others here
discussed Rush Limbaugh and how he called for the destruction of Denver years ago.
I would like to see cars overturned and mass riots and.....
But Trump's 'call for justice' was immediate.
GET THE STRETCHER.
IN THE OLDEN DAYS THERE WOULD BE A STRETCHER.
Anyway, the only way this suit will gain thunder is when this prick shows up for cross-examination.
OH HOW FUN, TO CROSS EXAMINE THE MOST ROTTEN MAN IN AMERICA.

Oh Ducky there werre other things in my head.
The Orange Clown (Taibbi, hahahah) stood on that platform and called for Russia to hack into Clinton's emails.
And so now, there are investigations as to whether the Trump campaign 'colluded' with the Russians to screw up Democracy in this country.
Really?
There are more than two riders approaching.
And the wind shall begin to howl.
hahahahah
GOOD JOB!

With stories like this, I'm proud of our courts plugging away at many of Trump's bullshit demagogue tricks. Gives me hope that we're not going to be Venezuela soon, that this writer is wrong:
And that encourages me in believing that the Dems in the Senate are on the right track by choosing to fight Gorsuch, even though that may or may not be the most strategically correct thing to do. (I've always felt that the most important consideration in a vote for president is: what will he do to the federal courts?)
