    Most terrifying scenes in TV ever

    We all know someone who either loves scary movies, or claims they do, and then runs and hides under the bed whenever the killer on the movie comes with that knife and all.....but some horror is worse than that. Even worse than Jaws or Freddy or Jason.

     

    What I'm talking about is how cartoons can be disturbing, especially anime, and people say cartoons are for children......  Sometimes you wonder, what exactly were the creators trying to come up with when they made these terrifying scenes?

     

    5.Digimon Tamers- People have accused this show of being for kids, but after seeing this scene.......

    Do these animated films get rated?

    Or do these so called "cartoons" avoid the rating system?

    I can't watch the clips from my android. But I have watched digimon with grand kids on cartoon network. It was OK for kids to watch. My oldest who is in college just told me he watches Monga anime from Japan that is not for little kids on the internet. Just keep an eye on the kids when they are on the computer watching u tub.

    Horror is a recurring theme in children's tales. Certainly in fairy tales. Probably from the earliest times.

    Television graphically depicts horrific scenes. When we were children (at least my generation) we were obliged to envision them, listening to the words, using our imaginations. 

    I've watched and read a good bit of Anime and Manga (grandchildren, you know), and find it fascinating. Children are drawn to the pith of things. Trying to sort it all out.
