Dog ate longer homework yesterday, but yes, design and usability/UX and efficiency and heat & energy footprint, ease to dispose, even comfort over 2-5 years, all very important. Someone complained a while back about NASA using old 286's rather than more powerful and modern Pentiums. But 286's didn't need fans, important on a spaceship - plus could easily survive 5+ years w/o problem it's all low margin, high impact stuff.
