Fulton County (Atlanta, Ga) Deputies Refuse To Evict 103 Year Old Woman

You read that right, a bank wants to foreclose on a 103 year-old-woman, Vinia Hall, and her 83 year-old daughter. The Fulton County deputies and movers who arrived on the scene refused to enforce the eviction after gazed upon the frail woman. The loan is held by Deutsche Bank, but is being locally enforced in Atlanta by Chase.

The foreclosure follows a years long battle between the family and Deutsche Bank. The most surprising aspect is that the woman has enough money to pay the loan according to family members. The problem is getting Deutsche Bank to accept the check, according to family members.

Vinia Hall has lived in the home for 53 years. She prayed that God would not let the deputies and movers do wrong. At least for a brief period of time, her prayers were answered. Hopefully the publicity will get Chase and Deutsch Bank to back off.

I'm proud of the Fulton County deputies and moving company employees who refused to simply follow orders. Vinia Hall has been given a brief period of peace. Given her advanced age, she will be out of the collective hair of Deutsche Bank and Chase soon enough.

Vinia Hall is three weeks shy of her 104th birthday. Deutsche Bank should take the woman's check and leave her alone.
