this video made me burst into tears; good job: "back at the table". "MAGA", the real thing this time.

Crocodile tears eh? Expensive stuff. Hope you're bottling 'em...

Looks like Rahm Emmanuel is the first considered appt. to really cause a brouhaha, big progressive target on his back:

What is shameful about AOC's response to a Rahm Emanuel appointment?
by rmrd0000 on Mon, 11/23/2020 - 8:28pm
someone said that it was shameful? edit to add: Actually just the opposite, AOC is the one saying that he is being considered is "shameful".
And me, I am just posting it as news, for crying out loud. You would rather be ignorant of this party infighting, is that it? Or what? Why shoot the messenger? Go yell at the involved parties on Twitter, you can talk directly to them, ya know. No need to make strawmen out of pseudonymous news junkies here to fight with. The real people are available. Go tell the transition team what you think, go query them, go rah rah on AOC's account or whatever, follow your bliss.
I am so tired of these games. I get nothing, zero, about debating with you. Learn nothing. Not an activist, just into news. I am one pseudonymous person on this site trying to analyze news with like minded people. If you want to challenge for effect, go do it to people using their real names.

Typical response
Edit to add:
I simply asked a question, You are outraged
2nd Edit to add:
You see a question as a personal attack
by rmrd0000 on Mon, 11/23/2020 - 9:33pm
You ask a question that contradicts the info in comment which is merely an attempt to post actual reality about what is going on. I have three choices
1) Suspect you have reading comprehension issues and correct you
2) Suspect you have argumentative intent and say "I am not interested into being dragged into an argument with you about this"
3) Ignore such comments totally like many frequent internet posters do
Taking MY time to respond to you, which I have unfortunately learned over time that I often get nothing out of but grief (and later references to what I said on other threads) is taken as taking it personally, rather than taken as acknowledging your existence.
I'll try hard not to do that anymore and chose #3 more often. Your trick of framing wanting to argue as an "innocent" question is going to be ignored. You don't really care what my opinion is anyways, you don't know who I am, it's sort of absurd to even care what I think, and I don't really want to give it.

Yglesias has retweeted this fun list as a response to the Trumpist meme starting about the Biden picks all being products of elite institutions:
