On Friday, the publishing platform WikiLeaks posted 19,252 searchable emails, including 8,034 attachments, from inside the Democratic National Committee. the data trove is easily searchable for personal information like credit card numbers, birthdays, and even Social Security numbers.
This should be the end of any respect anyone might still have for wikileaks. It's become a criminal organization where hackers post people's personal information for scammers to data mine.

Credit card numbers were last 4 digits, and from what I know very few ssn's, but a lot of email addresses and other personal info. Wikileaks used to be much more careful and serious before the gov destroyed Assange. Now we're getting into leaked supermodel selfies territory - immature brats.
Ooh, the DNC thinks the election is over when the the election is for practical purposes over - somehow they were expected to hope for an indictment too? The DNC thinks Sanders will complain about everything because he complains about everything? At a time when Sanders was helping to primary Debbie Wasserman-Schulz, hard to imagine the DNC being so professional. Kudos.

You nailed it as usual, Pericles. Why shouldn't the DNC think that an actual DEMOCRAT might be a better candidate than someone who consistently wrote and said terrible things about the Democratic Party?
Too bad WikiLeaks didn't bother to expose Sanders' emails when they discussed their stealing of the Internet files from Hillary. I would bet that Sanders' emails would look pretty bad in comparison. What I've seen of these DNC emails make me just yawn.

I don't know if i can take much more of this circus maximus of the absurd, the spit-takes are doing serious damage to my keyboard.
The wikileaks' email dump is too late to make any difference for Bernie but it did verify what was already known and produces a small embarrassment for the DNC whom almost everyone already knows is filled with wankers.
The response to this minor and soon forgotten scandal.is where the spit starts to fly. First one of the wankers tries to convince people they weren't really talking about 'that' Bernie the Atheist but some other Bernie the Atheist. Her Hillarynesss was not to be outdone in the lying game, by some mere lackey, so she offered this whopper for the rubes to swallow, it's the Russians who are to blame she says with a straight face and her penetrating experienced glare. Vlad will pay for angering the Red Queen as soon as she gets that Nuke football.
Bernie added to the absurdity today doing his sheepdog routine but this time he is trying to Pied Piper his delegates away from the convention trying to draw them miles from the convention site as the convention opens so the wankers can do their voting in peace, i wonder if it will work?

Journalists and anti-censorship activists who I am in touch with in Turkey have been combing through the leaked documents, and I am not aware of anything “newsworthy” being uncovered. According to the collective searching capacity of long-term activists and journalists in Turkey, none of the “Erdogan emails” appear to be emails actually from Erdogan or his inner circle. Nobody seems to be able to find a smoking gun exposing people in positions of power and responsibility. This doesn’t rule out something eventually emerging, but there have been several days of extensive searching.
However, this dump does include massive databases containing sensitive and private information of millions of ordinary people, including a special database of almost all adult women in Turkey.
Yes — this “leak” actually contains spreadsheets of private, sensitive information of what appears to be every female voter in 79 out of 81 provinces in Turkey, including their home addresses and other private information, sometimes including their cellphone numbers. If these women are members of Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party (known as the AKP), the dumped files also contain their Turkish citizenship ID, which increases the risk to them as the ID is used in practicing a range of basic rights and accessing services. The Istanbul file alone contains more than a million women’s private information, and there are 79 files, with most including information of many hundreds of thousands of women.

How progressive, yay! All your data r belong 2 us. Russia still punishing Turkey?
What is clear is that if Guccifer or others had hacked Hillary's mails, they would have released them.
